This 3 x CD set celebrates the continuing longevity of Simon s quite extraordinary career, featuring as it does a selection of dazzling, previously unreleased, live appearances, all of which were recorded for FM radio broadcast between 1967 and 1980. The first disc features a superb show he performed with Art Garfunkel during the height of the pair s collaborative era at The Cousens Gymnasium, Tufts University, Medford, MA 11th March 1967, given while the duo were recording their fourth studio album, Bookends. Continuing with a Paul Simon solo show from 1978 on disc two, his gig at The Old Roman Amphitheatre, Caesarea Maritima, Israel on 7th May, remains a legendary concert, and is released on this set for the first time. The collection concludes with a 1980 broadcast recorded at the Tower Theater, Upper Darby, PA on 8th October that year.
