The British formation CREAM, founded in 1966 by ERIC CLAPTON, JACK BRUCE and GINGER BAKER, went down in rock history as the first supergroup to make its mark on the rock genre with its innovative virtuoso mix of blues, hard and psychedelic rock. From the band's first release until its premature break-up at the end of 1968, four studio albums were released, including genre-defining masterpieces such as "Disraeli Gears" and "Wheels Of Fire". The now available double CD "Transmissions 1966 - 1968" presents rare, selected radio and TV broadcasts of the band, which were recorded at the time for popular shows such as Saturday Club, Guitar Club, Rhythm & Blues, Top Gear, Glen Campbell Show, Joe Loss Show and Bouton Rouge TV Show. They have recorded furious live versions of classic bands like "I Feel Free", "Strange Brew", "Tales Of Brave Ulysses", "Sunshine Of Your Love", "Politician", "I'm So Glad", "Crossroads", "Traintime" or "Born Under A Bad Sign".s
